What I love most about working with brides over their wedding weekend is the collaboration, trust, and intention that goes into every detail of their hair and makeup looks. Each bride has their own style, rhythm, and way of celebrating, and my goal is always to create a beauty experience that is personalized and reflects exactly who they are!

Michelle's wedding weekend was the perfect example of this. From our first preview to the final touch ups for her reception, we curated each of her looks with purpose. We shaped her vision across three different celebrations- her Tea Ceremony, Sangeet, and Wedding Reception.
All photography by the talented Nat Wong Saroj.
-Hi there! I'm Olivia and I help brides feel like their best self in the most comfortable way. My hair and makeup style is natural, authentic, and inspired by soft glam. I'm located in Baltimore and Connecticut, and serve the East Coast from Virginia to Massachusetts.
Tea Ceremony
Michelle's Tea Ceremony look was centered around tradition and her family. Her and her mom both attended her bridal preview so that her mom could show me how to place the traditional hair pieces throughout her high updo bun! It was important to Michelle that she have a high updo that looked amazing in photos and would last all night through dancing.
For makeup, Michelle requested a Douyin style look- something glowy, emphasizing the eyes, and red/pink toned colors.
The Sangeet
The Sangeet was where Michelle's full look really came together! For this evening, we wanted to create a look that would match her lehenga and would transition easily into her reception style.
We kept Michelle's makeup similar to her Tea Ceremony. For hair, we went for a romantic half-up style and I later installed the tikka into her hair.

The Reception Look
For the reception, Michelle wanted something timeless and elevated-- a look that would photograph beautifully but still feel amazing in person.
We opted for Hollywood glam waves, but a gentler, softer version. For makeup, we added just a few more lashes and a bit more bronzer and blush pigment to make her features pop with flash lighting.
Michelle's Weekend
Working with Michelle is a reminder of why I love what I do. Every conversation, preview, and every moment of collaboration helped shape a weekend of looks that felt authentic and true to her! I am so grateful for my job-- being able to create an experience for brides to feel totally comfortable and confident in who they are every moment throughout the wedding weekend.
